Motorcyclist, 34, Killed In Lehigh County Crash Remembered

Condolences are pouring in for the 34-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Lehigh County crash Friday, Oct. 4.

Jorge Pickett, of Bethlehem, is survived by two children, whose photos he shared often on social media.

Many of the comments are from people who struck up unlikely friendships with Pickett, including one who said they'd only ever met online. Still, Pickett sent his online friend a birthday gift. Another was a co-worker who said their friendly conversations eventually blossomed into a friendship.

"You really did have a heart of gold bro 💛," one person write. "I love you bro and I'm gonna miss you so damn much 😭💔 "Ride your heart out and be free up there 🏍👼."

Pickett struck another vehicle just before 5:30 p.m. at West Saucon Valley Circle and Center Valley Parkway, Upper Saucon Township, County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. He died at 6:14 p.m. at the St. Luke's University Hospital emergency room.

The cause of death is Multiple Blunt Force Injuries due to a Motorcycle Collision. The manner of death is Accident.
